Abstract

|
A case of recurrent meningitis was presenetd with the brief review of literatures.
This 32 year-old male who had 4 attacks of meningitis from October 1972 to December 1976 showed negative findings in various studies including pneumoencephalo-graphy, cisternography with RIHSA 100 uCi, vertebral angiography, other skull, paranasal X-ray studies, serum electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis.
Neverthless, the most probable underlying cause . in´this case is undected anatomical defect in CNS or its coverage. This patient was fully recovered after treatment with antibiotics.
